Update June 5th 2020 – Travel advice to students concerned about the Coronavirus

Please see our special announcement related to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Terms and conditions

Payment – Once you have been accepted onto the course you will be required to pay a downpayment of 40% of your course fees, payable online or in person at the school. You will only be fully accepted onto the course upon receipt of your down payment (in some cases it can take one or two days to clear). When the transaction is complete we will send you the pre-course reading material and tasks. You will also receive instructions on how to pay your outstanding balance. It is possible to pay in instalments but the entire outstanding balance must be paid by the course start date. Once the course has started no refunds can be made.

Cancellation – If you wish to cancel one month before the course start date you will be entitled to a full refund of any payments you have made, minus 20% of your fee. If you cancel within one month (the cut-off point is 5pm on the Thursday before your course start date) and have paid in full, you will be refunded 50%. If you have only made partial payment, you will not not be entitled to a refund. Once the course has started no refunds can be made.

Refunds – In case of a refund, any fees owed will be returned to you within 90 days of the refund request and confirmation.

Course Deference – If you book a place on a course and cannot make it for whatever reason your down payment is transferable to another course. If you wish to do so you must advise us at least three weeks before the course date to avoid incurring any extra charges.

Visa costs – If your visa application is denied due to error on your part (incorrect information, missing paperwork, etc) you will be entitled to a refund of the course fees, minus the down payment. If you would like to defer to a future course you can do so free of charge. If your visa application is denied due to error by the school you will be entitled to a full refund.

Accommodation – you will be expected to pay a refundable 200€ security deposit directly to your host when you arrive. This will be refunded to you when you leave, assuming there are no damages to the flat. If you are unable to travel or there are any last minute cancellations you will forfeit 50% of the cost of your rent, in order to cover host fees. If you arrive late you may incur a late arrival fee with the host.
