Which Course Is Right For Me?

The Trinity CertTESOL on its own: four weeks in Barcelona, €1,750 if you pay in full 4 weeks before the start, €1,850 otherwise. If you later decide to stay in Spain, you can add the Spanish course and the student visa.

The Spanish Course & Student Visa. You take the CertTESOL first, then 20 hours a week of Spanish in the mornings on a student visa, and you can work up to 30 hours a week once your employer gets a work permit for you. Most people take the 12-month programme.

The Gap Year is a package for 18 to 25 year olds: the course, Spanish, your own room in a shared flat, excursions, airport pickup and a coordinator, from 5 to 24 weeks. The Spanish Course & Student Visa is the course and the Spanish classes, for people who find their own flat and want to work in Barcelona for a year.

Yes. A room of your own in a shared flat with a host or other trainees, bills included: from €850 for 4 weeks (€950 from July to September) and €2,400 for 12 weeks. On the Gap Year your room is part of the package for the whole stay.

The CertTESOL has eleven start dates a year, and the Spanish Course & Student Visa starts with any of them; the Gap Year packages have their own dates, in January, May, June, July and August. For the student visa route, apply at least 3 months before the start date so there is time for the consulate. For the CertTESOL on its own, apply as soon as you have a date in mind: the summer courses fill up. All the dates are on the Dates & Fees page.
